Bwlch Nant yr Arian is both a Red Kite Centre and a visitors centre with loads of great walking trails exploring the Ceredigion countryside.

One of the shorter routes we love to recommend is the Barcud Trail. The 1.2km trail goes all the way around a lake, so is very pretty. Plus, to make it even more enjoyable for little ones, it’s part of a fun Animal Puzzle Trail with wooden animals to spot as you go.

This route is perfect for young children, families with buggies or people with accessibility needs, with minimal gradients and a smooth, well maintained path.
